I am currently enrolled part-time in MSU's Human Computer Interaction (HCI) program. Coursework has included courses about the foundations of HCI, Interaction Design, Designing for the User, and Cognitive Science. I am currently in the process of designing my thesis project, which will be researching how to improve the user experience of language preservation software for use in communities in Kenya where languages are at risk of disappearing. Details about projects completed in my time as a student are available here.
