My Unique Background Gives me a unique perspective
My name is Jeremy Rook. I am skilled in various IT fields including desktop support and administration, ICT4D, Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience Design, and Project Management. I have advanced experience in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware, Adobe Creative Suite, and key programs and systems like Active Directory and Exchange Server. I seek to do everything that I take on "the right way" from the start, and I combine that with effective communication skills and a record of reliability and responsibility, which provides a solid foundation to succeed in any environment.
What that really means is that I can help expertly solve problems related to technology in any environment using a multi-disciplinary education and skills gained in the field. I bring people and technology closer together by acting as the User's advocate in every situation.
Apart from my abilities in the above areas, I am a Christian, husband, father, athlete, tinkerer, germanophile and lame joke king (or "corny joke colonel") with a passion for technology, people, and how they interact.

I was tasked with creating a workflow for a new helpdesk at a non-profit organization responsible for the transfer of all health information across Michigan. I learned about Salesforce administration and development and created a basic helpdesk and knowledge base from the ground up using what I learned. On a daily basis, I was also responsible for serving our customers in solving connection errors and onboarding new users to become connected to the Health Information Network.

I am the head coach of Holt's Junior High Tennis program. As the head coach, I am responsible for the growth and performance of roughly 40 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. I have grown my leadership skills, and have been able to continue my lifelong love of tennis as an activity, and my passion for coaching and interacting with children.
